Hey dreamers! Sorry for being MIA lately! October and November has been a roller coaster ride for me because OCTOBER is my birth month + I had to review and make bawi for finals last NOVEMBER! And with that comes great responsibility. Kidding! Nah, I was too busy lately.

But anyway, last October 22, my friends from high school AKA my friends for life did a post-birthday surprise for meeee! Here's what I wore for that day.

Credits to mom for taking these photos for meeee!

Some birthday shennanigans.

That's all for this post! Watch out for more! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Hey dreamers! The title says it all. I just wanted to share a quick OOTD that you can put together if you are too lazy to prepare for a Saturday morning gala or in my case, a video shoot for a school project.

Denim Jacket - Camp Beverly Hills
Shirt - Penshoppe
White Jeans and Sandals are thrifted.

Hey dreamers! I know that school just started last month but I'm pretty sure some of you girls out there are already running out of clothes to wear. Let me be you fairZEE godmother! (laugh please)

I've always been on the hunt for a comfy but stylish clothing. Items like overalls, dresses, and sweaters would surely give you that comfort but wearing it as if you thought about your outfit for weeks is the problem. Back when I was just starting my first year in college (a.k.a. a year ago), I never really minded styling up. It was a hard task for someone who had to adjust her whole life for the new journey. But being the sophomore college student that I am right now, I have to be constantly conscious of how I appear in front of everybody. Especially when you have to go in front of the class to do impromptu speeches, or go on stage for a class performance.

I decided to show you how I styled this dress that I got from Style Stunner Manila. A gray ribbed dress that hugs your body just right and falls at the right length for your meticulous dress code in school.

This dress doesn't require much. Layer it with a denim jacket and a stunning watch and you're good to go!

Hey there dreamers!

I have been loving my mock neck tops these past few months. They accentuate the curve between your shoulders and neck which is very flattering. I especially love this oxblood mock neck top from my closet.

I either wear it alone, or layer with a cardigan (holding it right there because it's pretty hot haha) to make it appear more formal.

Also, I've been loving the oxblood color lately. I've observed that it makes my skin appear lighter than it's original tone.

Hey hey hey Dreamers! What is up? I hope you're doing great. I won't apologize for my inconsistency in posting anymore because, you've seen all that. But today, well, as you can see on the title I will be talking about life and my whereabouts.

So, this school year has obviously been very busy, thus my inconsistency in posting (and no, I am not trying to defend myself. just stating a fact xx). And finally, just a few more weeks and I am out of school! I only have two weeks left to do all school-related stuff and I am very excited, and not so excited all at the same time. I mean, who isn't excited to be finally relaxing after a ton of school works and exams? On the other hand, I am not sure what to do in my four-month vacation. I've already planned a few things or so, but I am not sure if I can take all of those in action.

And with that out of the way, it is time to do a recap of what I've been doing lately (which isn't really interesting at all tbh)

1. Studying.
2. Studying.
3. Studying.
4. Trying to finish "Seriously . . . I'm Kidding" by Ellen Degeneres (which btw is super hilarious)
5. Studying.
6. Daily dose of social media (facebook, twitter, instagram - all links below!)
7. Projects.
8. Listening to Troye Sivan's Blue Neighborhood album nonstop.
9. Figuring out what to do with life.
10. Studying.

Well I hope that can help you out with something.

Hey dreamers! Last week was a very busy and exhausting week for me, so I apologize for not posting for quite a while. However, I am bringing you the latest happenings right now. And I am starting by sharing with you an experience about the Philippine band, Hale.

Just to give you a quick description: Hale is a local band here in the Philippines that was built in the year 2004. Composed of Champ  Lui Pio, Paolo Santiago, Sheldon Gellada and Roll Martinez, Hale became one of the most popular bands in the Philippines along with Cueshe, Callalily, Rivermaya and Spongecola.

And they visited the Liberal Lasallians (Hello there my fellow CLAC students) last February 18, 2016 (Thursday)! They were set to be the highlight of our General Assembly / College Day and they definitely set the roof on fire! They performed their hit songs "The Day You Said Goodnight", "Blue Sky", "Kahit Pa" and more. Here are some photos from the event!

(Photos taken by Jessica Lozada)

They were very nice to the audience and the event was just something worth watching. We didn't even mind that the event was held at 1 o' clock in the afternoon! HAHA. I got the chance to take pictures with Paolo and Roll but I was so haggard and sweaty so I decided no to upload it here just yet. HAHA. Love you! xx

Hello there dreamers! Valentine's Day is over, finally. JUST KIDDING! HAHA. I hope that you are doing well. Today I am going to be talking about the scenarios in my life where I felt like I had a mini heart attack. Which by the way, just happened before I started typing this post. HAHA. I think everything that I am going to mention in this post all happened today, weird.

This first one is like the most frequent scenario that happens whenever I'm in school, on a bus, in a mall. WHEREVER. And it is not finding my phone in my pocket! Don't you panic and almost feel like you're going to faint when you cannot find your phone anywhere near you? I definitely do. Just awhile ago, I was on my way home and riding a bus. I was just scrolling on my phone for a minute and then after I paid my fare, IT IS GONE. I panicked, swear. I checked my pocket, my bag, my jacket. I even checked under the seat where I was sitting. But, it isn't there. I found it on my bag after checking for like the 10th time. And the guy beside me is already looking at the mess I've made. HAHA.

Second, is forgetting something that I have to bring for school. A while ago was our Religion subject, and I forgot to bring my Bible. Again. And I remembered it when I was only a few meters away from school. I also panicked right there and then because it was a requirement to have one in class. And I don't have it! Good thing we can borrow one from the library (which I just discovered a while ago).

Lastly, was what happened just before I typed this post. So, I messaged someone a few minutes ago that I never contacted first. LIKE EVER. I wasn't expecting him to reply because we aren't close. And I did it out of concern for a very close friend. So, as I was just typing my infamous "Hello there dreamers!", HE. REPLIED. Had a mini heart attack too because as soon as it notified on my iPad, I didn't know what to reply next. I am never good at conversing with others so, yaaasss. Kudos to me? HAHA.

So that is it! What I've written on this post is basically what happened in my entire Monday. It was pretty weird that all this happened today so I decided to share this with you. Let me know in the comment section down below your own experiences! I will be reading them. All the love, Risse xx.
Hello dreamers! Tomorrow is Valentine's Day and a lot of us (or is it just me?), are single. So, to fill your day with loads of happiness and positivity without having a BAE, I will be sharing with you some of my thoughts and tips for Valentine's.

Well originally, Valentine's Day didn't have any relation with love and romanticism. It was just developed through a poetry by Chaucer called Valentines. (That was based on my mini research right there, haha). So, I don't really see any reason to be bitter about the celebration. On the other hand, we can't really avoid the fact that the celebration has become too mainstream and everybody who is in love, seems to love it.

But enough of those. The question is, what do I really feel being single on Valentine's?

Well, you can't erase the thought that you don't have anyone special to celebrate it with. But besides that idea, I think I'm perfectly fine. I do feel bitter at some point. Because, who doesn't? Couples everywhere. Teddy bears are on point. But at the end of the day, all of us will get our happily ever after. We just have to wait for the right timing, the right place and the right person. Yey!

Next question, why don't I have a boyfriend?

Hmm. I guess you can say that I am not yet ready to commit. As of the moment, I'm not sure if I am looking forward to a serious relationship with someone. But I am not saying that I am satisfied with flirting and all that. My main focus is studying and my blog. I don't think I can squish in a boyfriend in my list of priorities. BUUUUT, I am not closing doors. I don't want these words to haunt me because my opinion on relationship can change anytime. Tomorrow even.

And also, it doesn't matter if you're single on Valentine's Day! How would you celebrate it?

Watch a movie with your besties, or go to the salon with your mom. There's a ton of things to do that doesn't require you to be in a relationship. And for those who do have a boyfriend/girlfriend, enjoy the day but don't forget your fam and friends because they are the ones who truly wouldn't leave your side.

Happy Valentine's Day dreamers! All the love, xx.
HEY DREAMERS! I hope that you are having a great day. To kick off my 2016, I am giving you an OOTD post. Yaaay. I'm not so sure if I've done this on my previous posts. Have I? Hahaha.

So I went to my mom's side of the family to visit relatives of course. Not so much happened but I guess I enjoyed it. I also went to the newly opened H&M store at SM Dasmarinas. Yaay! ^__^ Also included in this post is my OOTD from New Year's Eve.

New Year's Eve Outfit: I honestly don't know where all these came from because I got both my top and vest from mom. But I do believe that the turtleneck top is from California. And the vest is actually OLDER THAN ME. HAHA. I simply wore a gray ripped jeggings to finish the look.

Fam Reunion Outfit:
Top from H&M
Jeans from USA
Shoes from Sundance

I am so loving the beanie and the hat, but then as I was just choosing from the different styles, it was announced that the store was closing sooo. Wasn't able to purchase that. Sad though. :(

Happy New Year everyone! I have been existing for 17 years, 2 months and 7 days as I am writing this letter. And throughout those years I have made a lot of stupid things, achieved a ton of goals, and now is the chance to say thank you for all of that.

Thank you to those who has been and will always be a huge part of my life. To my besties (you all know who you are), thank you for being the coolest friends. Thank you for not leaving. Thank you for sticking with me through thick and thin. And also, thank you to my new found friends/squad who entered my life and stayed. Thank you to my DREAMERS!

Of course, letters like this wouldn't simply end with THANK YOUs. So I would like to take this chance to sincerely apologize. Sorry to those whom I tried so hard to push out of my life. Know that there is a reason behind it and I don't mean to hurt any of you. It was just so stupid of me to have this thinking that people who stays no matter how hard I push them away are the truest. Guess you can say that it isn't true at all. And that I was blinded by that mantra. Too blinded to block the truest and best people out. I once admitted to one of these people how I regret not having him around at times simply because I let my indecisive and insensitive mind lead my heart. And now, I am admitting it to all. My only hope is to work things out.

Since my New Year's Resolution for this year is already posted, I would no longer include it here. But to add to that, one of my goals is to try and fix the mistakes I had in the past. 17-year old me realized that I have not been a very good girl for the past couple of years so I want to make up for that.

So yup. That is it. For those who read this post in its entirety, thank you very much. And for those who scrolled their way through it, Happy New Year to you too. HAHA. Kidding.

Again, Happy New Year and I hope that you're having a great night!
